Is Indian Education System is Enough to Explore Students Talent?

Is Indian Education System is Enough to
Explore Students Talent?
In the changing world things regard to industry and the jobs market, there is now an overpowering
need for skilled workers. However, the definition of 'skill' in India, and the world is different In india
skills mean certificate while in other developed countries skill means skill.
India is relatively young as a nation than other countries with around 28 million youth population is
being added every year. More than 50 % of Indias population is below the age of 25 and more than 65
% are aged below 35. In 2020, the average age of an India Population will be expectedly 28 years, while
it will be 37 for China and 48 for Japan.Still we are far away from these countries in development and
technology.Solution for this concern is that we have to focus on skill education
As in india the biggest concern is unemployment this just because in our education we just focus on
theoretical preference not on practical preference . To get employed we just need employable skills .
As in India about 90 percent of employment opportunities require vocational skills. Only 20 per cent of
our graduates get employed. The rest of students are unable to get suitable employment due to the lack
of employable and needed skills. In our education system we just focus on core subject point here in
india we doesst not try to explore skills like communication skills, team work, self management.stress
management and many more. At school level, there must be options for skill development courses and
personality development and they must be provided at the secondary stage of schooling. The education
has to be practical learning can be enhanced through field visits, e-learning, industry driven projects,
digital or video inputs and many more
To make India full of skilled workers or skillfull students, the school curriculam will have to go through a
dynamic change Skill development should ideally begin at the age of 12-14, from the eighth or ninth
standard, while in school
Consider Indian Population there is a need for training for youth force to shape them in better way.In
my point of view Indian Education System need dyanamic change from bookish knowledge. The biggest
reason behind the lack of skills is faculty second is facility. In india mostly teacher just tell us bookish
knowledge ehich just stop us to explore things it just limits the students. Basically our education system
focus on marks not on creativity and skills. The future generation is in danger if this problem is not sorted
out then students will have the degree but no placement. The problem lies when increasing in
population and lesser number of good universities
Indian education system and parents mentality is just moving near ranks, marks, and competitive
results.Talent and creativity require curious mind first, which bour education system kills from the
beginning. The problem in unemployement in india is lack of skilled students and we need innovative
students, need for curiosity among students. As we know curiosity prepare Brain for learning and makes
subsequent learning for rewarding. It also make Learning for more Effective and Enjoyable. In our
education system we need learning and innovative skills along sides
Our education system need research experience programs for students. Our education system need just
test the memorizing power. Our Education system is known for encouraging and promising students to
memorize rather than f creativity and their independent thinking. Every child mind is full of gems, only
proper education and training can push them to shine like a star in this competitive world. Systems,
communities and organisation should give great emphasis on children education specially girl child
education, as she has a potential of mother of her children – first educator of her children, an
entrepreneur, an example for her children to stay motivated
In India, primary education system has changed a lot over the years. State governments and central
government has contributed alot to this.
On the other side of education system , our higher education system is same as the past our higher
education does not changed. Mostly students opt for engineering or medicine courses after compllition
of thier schooling. As far as i know, we have a good curriculum for engineering and medicine streams in
our universities / colleges but still we have lots of unemployed students from these streams.
What is clearly lack point here is, less interest on the part of students to take up occasional courses.
Mostly, parents also want to see their children as doctors or engineers they don't even ask their children
dream or talent / interest, mainly because those jobs are highly demanding
India is at the last position in terms of quality of secondary education while Russia and Brazil had
maximum scores. The quality of tertiary education in India is lowest among the other emerging or
developing and developed nations. Even though the demographics of India are considered its strength,
the country has scored the worst in this too and was ranked at last place. In terms of students
enrollment for primary education, India is highly competitive with the gross enrollment ratio standing at
98.1. China has secured second place with scoring 6.7 points, while Brazil has positioned itself at third
place with 5.56 score points as the quality of education in Brazil remains stable and at the best across all
levels of primary, secondary and higher education. Mexico has been ranked at 4th place on the strength
of its higher education. South Africa, a relatively new entrant to the club of developing economies, has
managed to be on fifth place on the strength of its tertiary education and demographic qualities though
it lags far behind in primary education. However, Indonesia stands at the last position with an overall
score of 2.68 points but over country is not in good position. The gross enrollment ratio is highest in
Brazil (148.5), then China (116.2) and Russia (113.8). Even countries like Indonesia (110.9) and South
Africa (105.1) have far better enrollment ratio than India.
